I love building cool things, and I have a stubborn belief that most things can be figured out if you just start.
For 8+ years I have built brands, campaigns, and media from the ground up. I co-founded Zonse Live in Malawi, a digital entertainment platform in the spirit of Complex and The Fader, but rooted in Malawi's creative scene. We delivered 50+ campaigns for clients like the European Union, the Malawi State House, and TEVET-GIZ, reaching over a million people across Southern Africa.
I later helped grow Vwaza, an African music and arts platform, from zero to 5,000 sign-ups, building the creator acquisition, the artist messaging, and the platform trust before it was the obvious place to be.
These days I work in communications for a 3,000-member church in Seattle, across brand voice, web, email, social, print, and seasonal campaigns. In plain English, I turn complicated things into clear ones, and help brands sound like they have a pulse and a character.
What I am actually good at is walking into something early, messy, and unfinished, finding the story worth telling, and building the audience that cares about it. Strategy, brand voice, growth, creators, community, and the zero-to-one part. That is the fun part.
Positioning, narrative, and the story a brand is actually built on.
Deals, distribution, and creator acquisition that move real numbers.
Roadmaps and GTM grounded in user data, from first launch to scale.
Documentary, film, and photography that make a story land.
